What is a terminal coding agent?

A terminal coding agent is a colleague in the shell you already use. You ask in the terminal. It reads the repository on that computer, writes the change there, and stays in the session while you decide what to keep.

Toknary is that agent. It is not another editor, and the code does not go to a website first. The terminal on your Mac or Windows computer is where the work happens.

What happens in a session

You install Toknary, sign in once, and keep working in the same terminal as the rest of the job. The agent can read the files that are already open, write the next change, and look back over what it just did. You stay in the session. The last word stays with you.

What does not move

Your repository stays on your computer. Your shell stays the one you already trust. Toknary does not ask you to upload the project to a dashboard before it can help. The site is the account, the install, and the sign-in. The agent runs where the files are.

How token use fits

You do not pick a model for each request, and you do not count tokens by hand. During testing and launch those tokens are free, with no daily limit. Toknary still spends them carefully, so a long session does not waste the careful pass on a file search. The split is in how Toknary uses tokens.

The install itself is in Install Toknary on Mac or Windows. Where the files remain is in why the files stay on your computer.
